    Default Curious About Legal "Steroid" Effectiveness

    This week is really the first time I have done any reading on steroids.
    There is plenty of information to be found on everything that is illegal but that doesnt help much if I cant get my hands on any.
    All my friends are stoners and can get a killer bag o bud but thats about it.
    So I was wondering if there is anything that is still legal that is worth wasting time and money on.
    There are plenty of sponsered claims about expensive legal alterantives but I was wondering if there is anyone here that has personally used such alternatives and noticed any real gains.
    I would rather try something thats half as effective as "the good stuff" than move to Texas and run for the boarder all the time.

    I think just about everything is illegal now. Diet and training is the best answer if you are wanting to keep it legal as Gutt mentioned. Someone with knowledge can help with a diet and routine that might amaze you so long as you are doing everything right.

    I'm not bashing you by any means, this is a great place to learn. You said you just started doing research this week though. How long have you been training, eating, etc. You cannot take steroids and sit on the couch and expect to get big. You have to work twice as hard on a cycle then when off. Get your training and your diet figured out, hit it for a couple years. When you think you've done all that you can, quit smoking, drinking, etc, and give it another two years. Then start thinking about taking something.

    Protein powder, multi vitamins and minerals, creatine and bcaa's all are worthwhile supps for a natural guy. Don't waste you money on so called legal steroids, as they don't exist.

    I have been reading about training and nutrition for several years.
    I have also been doing my best to balance workout with proper rest for
    sevceral years now.

    It has just been recently that I have considered looking into "stronger
    stuff".
    I realise that patience is a virtue and that steroids are no free ride.
    I just feel like I have been held back by circumstance and I would like
    to make up for it.
    I have always had a hard time making upper body gains.
    My lower body is in better shape but thats because I have done more
    hiking and backpacking with heavy packs more times than I can remember.
    Its kinda funny since my upper and lower body look like they belong to
    different people. lol

    (Graphic descriptions, put the spoon down.)
    Since I was about 10 years old, and up to about 20, I had a painful
    inguinal hernia on the right side that would swell out and become
    incarcerated off and on throughout the years.
    The hernia would push all the way out and down into my nutsack and
    continue to swell larger on the right side.
    I remember on time it looked like my right testicle was the size of
    grapefruit!
    But usually it stayed about apple sized (as if thats any better).
    If you think that sounds like it hurts its because it did like hell.
    It felt like somebody whackin my right nut with a ballpeen hammer every
    heartbeat 24 hours a day.
    With that much constricting pressure on one of my boys being consistant
    all through puberty, I think that maybe a contributing factor as to why
    I am not as developed as I would like to be.
    If I was only producing 100% testosterone from 1 nut then you could
    imagine how that might affect a young persons development.
    Not to mention the fact that the only thing that brought relief to the
    pain was to sit around all the time and try to relax as much as
    possible.
    That kinda stomps on your motivation to do heavy lifting and such, to
    say the least.

    So why did I wait so long to get it fixed?
    Well for one, I didn't know what the hell it was.
    All I knew was that I had a really big ball.
    And who was going to take me to the doctor?
    My mother?
    "Hey mom, come over here and check out these set of nuts I got."
    Regardless of my actuall testicle size I just couldn't find the balls
    for that conversation. lol
    Anyway, when I did finally did get it fixed I was so fired up about
    training that I overworked just about every joint in my body and that
    set me back a lot.
    My biggest demon thusfar has always been recognising my limits.
    Since then I have been trying to train smarter and doing as much as
    possible without going to far but its still been hard to make gains.
    I try adding more rest in between workouts and it seems like it isnt
    enough.
    Then I step it up and it seems like Im on the verge of joint injury
    again.

    So here I am, 26 years old, 140lbs and still skinny as hell.
    I try to eat as much as possible on top of the 100grams of whey protien
    that I take every day but the only weight gain I seem to get is flab.
    That plus a seriously young looking face doesnt do much for a positive
    body image.

    Anyway, I just thought I remebered hearing that Mark Miguire(sp?) and
    some other baseball players were taking some stuff that was legal up
    until recently.
    I was just wondering if there was anything like that, that was still
    legal that the goverment had not yet banned.

    Everywhere I look on the net for places to buy anything else seems to
    be on your scammers list.

    BTW, even if I did get my hands on any real gear, how would I know that
    its the real stuff and not some BS snake juice?
    Just buy a drug test kit or what?

    What does your diet and training routine look like. You need to do compound work for the next six months to a year, I would guess.

    it takes time, i have been lifting non stop for about 5 years now and I still feel like I am a work in progress.
