    Default Beginner's Luck.

Because so many people come to these boards inexperienced and looking for answers...

I thought it might be interesting to create a simple, no-nonsense, thread that spells things out exactly for a newb first time to juice.

Basic fit science here X, and others. A solid foundation for someone who wants to improve their physique.

So I'm thinking.... gain quality muscle, clean up diet to ensure some fat loss.

It would be cool to combine, or split the sections for each.

My recommendations would be as follows.

Section 1. Dietary formula. Xgrams per lb of body weight of all macronutrients. Timing, etc..

Section 2. Training Formula. Resistance and Cardio here folks... Simple Beginner Split, most bang for the buck workout.

Section 3. Simple AAS program. (I'm thinking max, 2 anabolic compounds here) Nothing too harsh either......... think first timers.

    Section 4. Supplementation and timing.

Let me know your interest here bro's!!!

I think at the very least it would be helpful to all newb's. Let us pass on the knowledge we have acquired, and cut short alot of silly questions.

    Best,

    Nap, the Lab Rat.

Hey Bro, that's a great idea. however, there are too many variable from person to person to just give out some type of blanket advise. I would not advise someone who's 180 lbs the same thing as I would someone who's 240 lbs etc....not to mention age variables and experience in training. etc.

the premise is good but not IMO viable in this type of community. I"d rather get assistance that's more specific to myself rather then some blanket answer given to everyone.

There's definitely not a one-size-fits-all AAS program. However, we could describe something here that would give decent results for a first timer, pretty much no matter what your goals. Whether your goal is to look more muscular, build strength, gain an edge in competition, get bigger, etc, a simple AAS cycle in combination with proper diet and high intensity training can help you get there.

I agree, if we know a person's exact goals, we can design a perfectly tailored AAS program for that individual aqnd have them get excellent results. But most first-time users will see some benefits in pretty much every area with just a simple AAS program.

There is a lot of misinformation out there, and a lot of bad information. Guys are discovering AAS through their buddies at the gym or by hearsay, and are being told wrong information such as to use too many compounds, not using proper AI's, cycling for too long, have no idea about PCT, etc. Of course I would like to see these people to do their research first and become AAS pseudo experts before taking their first shot, but it usually doesn't work out that way.

That's why I think it would be a good idea to post a generic first cycle that people can get started with, along with guidelines for diet and workout, and a proper PCT designed for that cycle. If this information is easy to find in this site, we could steer a lot of people in a safer direction than they would otherwise follow, given that they are not going to do the proper research. The generic cycle would give them results in the right direction, and hopefully inspure them to learn a lot more about these powerful drugs and arm themselves with knowledge before starting their second cycle.

For the "lazy" people who want a quick answer with little research investment, they could do something like this simple cycle and at least get decent results. People who take the time to learn all about AAS can do an even better first cycle. It is the first set of people that this thread is for.

I would also give the usual schpiel about AAS not being a panacea. I would discourage anyone from using AAS if they don't already know how to build muscle effectively without AAS. For example, to the skinny guy who wants to find an easy path to getting big - forget about AAS! Steroids basically increase the leverage of whaever you are already doing in the gym. If your workout is getting you nowhere, you will get nowhere faster on steroids and you will be wasting your money. If your workout is unbalanced (a lot of newbies only work their chest and arms for example), that imbalance will become greatly magnified by steroids and your body will start to look ridiculous! You need to know your body and already be an experienced bodybuilder who has packed on 20 pounds of natural, well-proportioned muscle over the past few years.

Basically you should never use AAS to get started in bodybuilding, period. And you should not be using AAS if your current workout is not working for you, or if your current workout is making your physique imbalanced. AAS will only compound those problems.

That said, I have seen many a first-timer use a cycle based on moderate doses of test and optionally deca, along with arimidex, and get good to excellent results pretty much regardless of their goals. I think deca is best used with winstrol to prevent the possibility of progesterone problems, therefore I usually don't recommend deca for first-timers because you end up with a cycle based on three compounds. I like first-timers to use one or at most two compounds.

Several people I have worked with tried this very basic first cycle, and none were disappointed (other than being disappointed when it was over and wanting to run it longer ). I have beefed up the PCT a little based on my own experience, and this is probably more PCT than is strictly necessary. But I like to do everything possible to keep gains. You can't really do too much PCT. I also added 6-oxo, which I have found to be a very effective booster of natural testosterone production.

Take your shot every 3 days to get just under 600mg a week, or twice a week (say monday mornings and thursday evenings) to get 500mg a week total dose.

Note: This cycle is for MEN. Anyone under the age of 21 should not do this cycle, nor should any woman.

    Cycle:
Week 1-10: test enanthate, cypionate or sustanon, 250mg e3d or twice a week
    Week 1-10: arimidex, .5-1mg ed

    HCG treatment:
Week 11-12: 5000 iu of HCG as 10 shots of 500iu ed for 10 days
    Week 11-12: 20mg nolvadex ed
    Week 11-12: 1000iu vitamin E ed

    PCT:
    Week 13-16: Nolvadex 20mg ed
    Week 13-15: Clomid 300mg day 1, 100mg days 2-10, 50mg days 11-21

    I would also add:
Week 13-14: 6-oxo, 6 capsules ed before bed
Week 15-18 (or longer): 6-oxo, 3 capsules before bed

Note: If you have enough HCG, it would be a good idea to also do the HCG treatment in weeks 5-6, as well as weeks 11-12. AAS use definitely causes your testes to shrink. It's better to catch this early and ongoingly instead of trying to solve the whole problem at the end.

Pretty much anyone would gain about 15 lean pounds on this cycle, and end up keeping at least 7 of those pounds. If your workout is well-balanced across all muscle groups and you use good form and lift with intensity, you should see a noticeable transformation of your physique that you will keep as a new base after the cycle.
