Lexapro and gear

guys, i was just put on lexapro today and am wondering if i need to be aware or more aware of sides or reactions. anyone on this stuff and on cycle?

Any doctors in the house? I am not a doctor. But I did a little research on Lexapro (an SSRI antidepressant) which might set you in a useful direction. The only drugs I see contraindicated with Lexapro are:
- MAOI's (those always get along badly with SSRI's)
- NSAIDs, aspirin and drugs that affect blood coagulation
- Also contraindicated: Cimetidine, Digoxin, Lithium, Pimozide and Celexa, Sumatriptan, Theophylline, Warfarin, Carbamazepine, Triazolam, Ketoconazole, CYP3A4 and -2C19 Inhibitors, Drugs Metabolized by Cytochrome P4, Metoprolol.

Lexapro works on the serotonin system. I did a little research and didn't find anything pointing to anabolic steroids having an effect on the serotonin system. However, steroids definitely DO alter and boost mood, and that might be effected through either the serotonin or dopamine system, or via androgen receptors in the brain. My *guess* is steroids and Lexapro would not interact badly. However, I might be wrong.

I would like to strongly recommend that you discuss this combination with a doctor before trying it.
