Thread: Hitting a vien

    Ok, I hit a vien in my ass every 4-5 weeks. 2 weeks ago I hit not one, but another when I reloaded and aspirated.

    Last night, aspirated and got vacuum but on the release I had a small deposit of blood inside the syringe im assuming from pressure of going through or moving the needle into a vien during the process.

    Ive read that the BA in the blood will directly effect your lungs and you should feel the alcohol in the lungs. Last night at the gym I had a dry hacking cough that I could not get rid of.

    I see hundreds of posts about the importance of not hitting a vien and last night at the gym I was applying simple math.

    Based on the fact that hitting a vien is actually very easy, plus the fact that a certain percentage of users are to lazy to aspirate, plus the fact that its a given that a certain percentage are just idiots. Plus the fact of the availability/popularity of steroids today...

    Dont you think that we should come across about a good 20-30 news articles/obituarys from kids trying to get HOOGE and screwing things up?

    Im unlikley to believe that this is as lethal is many posters and some vets think it is.

    Hitting a vein and landing in the middle of a vein for injecting are different things.

    OK - so Saturday I took my normal shot of test, but as soon as I pulled the needle, I began coughing uncontrollably and my chest was so tight and I felt like vomitting. I suppose I made the same mistake - first time though.
    Do I need to take another shot for this week or will that one still work for the week?
